APC Build’s craft and depth of knowledge in building techniques was put to the test with the challenge of adding a third storey to this heritage listed, solid brick terrace home with only single fronted access.

Traditional building techniques were required to create openings in solid brick walls and conventional framing techniques were employed to achieve a seamless third storey addition.

Working closely with architect Novatec Designs and Interior designer Milly+Co, the home now boasts light filled and functional spaces.

The original period features are emphasised by the vibrant colour accents and natural light to the newly formed spaces.

The bold palette and design features are on display as you’re guided up the perfectly replicated period stair case leading to the a third storey master bedroom and ensuite.
Here the true value of the extension is established as you step out on to a generous terrace and sit in awe of the unencumbered view of Melbourne’s city skyline.
