Robust metal cladding is purpose built to weather the sea air, with slatted blackbutt timber battens balancing the external façade. Entering through a custom made wooden front door, inside you’ll find sleek American Oak utilised across panelling, cupboard and storage spaces and within the bathroom and bedrooms. It contrasts beautifully with the muted white and grey tonality of the interior walls and carpets. Local company Woodcut provided the American Oak flooring in lounge and kitchen spaces.
An eye catching feature are the two stairways between floors, with glass balustrades and oak steps adding some LA-style glamour to your ascent through the levels. Glossy kitchen benchtops and bathroom facilities feature steel grey Dekton, elevating the sleek contemporary feel throughout, with secret doors in the kitchen maintaining the clean lines without interruption.
Another clever feature is the use of permeable paving at the rear of the house, allowing rain water to flow through to the earth below and avoiding pooling.
A sophisticated, elegant home – this is beachside luxe with views to die for.
