EPISODE 1: Smart Mechanical Design for Modern Living with J&S Air

In this walkthrough, Dylan from J&S explains the innovative mechanical design behind a complex flat-roof build. J&S were engaged to deliver a full design-and-construct mechanical package, opting for the Daikin VRV system—chosen for its minimal condenser footprint, slimline indoor units, and ability to deliver individual climate control to each room. With limited ceiling space to work with, the team installed a mid-static unit above the main living area, ducted through bulkheads and supported by two linear slot diffusers. This approach ensures quiet, efficient airflow without compromising ceiling height or design integrity. Episode 12: The Scaff's Down!

Big moment at the Lola Display—the scaffolding is finally down, and we’re loving how the textured render, custom metal shrouds, and hidden blinds are coming together. Inside, things are really taking shape with plaster complete and joinery on the way, including a curved kitchen and bar that’s going to be a showstopper. Upstairs, the skylight is flooding the space with natural light, and Woodcut floors are down, adding serious warmth and character. We’re into the final stages now—tiling, fixing, and a whole lot of joinery. Can’t wait to show you what’s next!

Episode 13 : Lot's has happened on site

Back on-site at our LOLA Displays with Peter + Samantha giving us a glimpse inside.⁠ ⁠ ⁠ ➡️ A beautifully staggered paved entry is in prep—perfect for greenery to be placed between the steppers.⁠ ➡️ Kitchen joinery is underway with a 3m island and thoughtful laundry design (hello, raised washer/dryer + pull-out hampers).⁠ ➡️Laundry splashbacks and mudroom tiles are going in across both townhouses—each with a unique touch.⁠ ➡️ Neolith surfaces are installed, flooring laid, and painting underway.⁠ ➡️Salento Tiling (shoutout to Daniele) delivering craftsmanship in natural stone.⁠ ➡️Deme Interiors is onsite making final measurements for furniture selections.⁠ ➡️PJ Pools back on deck, tiling what will be a peaceful outdoor escape.
