With the initial renovation stage completed by the owner, the transformation from humble 1950s blonde brick beginnings to a larger modern family home was underway. Working closely with the client, the vision was to accentuate the existing period features of the façade cohesively throughout the additional second storey and ground floor extension.
The construction featured an ornate staircase with recessed wine cabinet, feature panelling, stucco rendering, and brick detailing with old red blues. The 4 metre long stone island bench was designed as a stage for grand scale entertaining with a fluidity between the vast interior living and refined garden spaces within the ground floor extension.
Seemless period charm meets contemporary living.
